Homeless Resources
Lake Forest takes a multi-pronged approach to dealing with individuals experiencing homelessness in the City. The City designated Sr. Management Analyst as the point person to ensure those experiencing homelessness receive assistance and access to available resources. The City contracts with the non-profit Mercy House to provide outreach services. An Orange County Sheriff's Department Deputy also works as a Homeless Liaison Officer on a full-time basis. If you ever feel threatened by a situation, call 9-1-1.
