  3. Leadership Academy

    The Academy is an 8-week course held once per year in the fall and provides participants with a general overview of City operations and departments. Applicants from all segments of the community are encouraged to participate. The ideal Leadership Academy will include participants 18 years or older with varied educational and cultural backgrounds who live in Lake Forest. The Academy is limited to the first 25 registrants. Participants are selected on a first come, first serve basis. This in-depth seminar is free and includes dinner at the beginning of each session.

  4. Free Legal Advice

    An attorney from the Legal Aid Society of Orange County will provide free legal advice to seniors through the Orange County Senior Citizens Legal Advocacy Program (SCLAP) on a wide variety of issues: Government benefits, health, housing, consumer problems and elder abuse.

    You must be an Orange County resident, be 60 years of age or older and a US Citizen or Permanent resident to qualify for an appointment.

  5. OC Health Care Agency's Point of Dispensing

    October 18, 2018, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Orange County Great Park

    Attend the multi-city Point of Dispensing (POD) event and help cities and OC Health Care Agency exercise health emergency preparedness plans. In a real emergency, PODs can save lives by getting needed medication and supplies to our community quickly and efficiently.

    Participants will receive a customized tote bag containing emergency preparedness materials unique to your community and a festive pumpkin.
