2007 Community Preparedness Academy

Enrollment is underway for the 2007 Lake Forest Community Preparedness Academy. The Academy, which is designed to teach Lake Forest residents the basics of disaster preparedness, is offered as a joint partnership between the City of Lake Forest, Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Orange County Fire Authority, Medix Ambulance, and the American Red Cross. As part of the instruction, participants will be certified in First Aid / CPR and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) use. The classes run for eight consecutive Wednesdays, beginning January 31, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. A light dinner and refreshments will be provided.
