Community Engagement The City Council is committed to involving the community throughout the design phase. By working together, we can ensure the community’s values are reflected in the Lake Forest Civic Center. Workshops will be advertised in The Leaflet, on the City’s Facebook page, and on the City’s website.
May 7, 2016:The City held the second Civic Center Workshop to build upon key themes that emerged from the first workshop. Participants engaged in an interactive discussion and reviewed an image board containing examples of facilities and amenities.
April 28, 2016: The City held the second Senior Center Workshop to build upon key themes that emerged from the first workshop.
March 19, 2016: The City held a Civic Center General Workshop where attendees participated in exercises to help identify priorities for the Civic Center.
February 25, 2016: The City held a Senior Center Community Workshop where over 70 attendees participated in exercises to help identify priorities for the Senior Center, Civic Center, and Natural Environment.
