Emeritus Classes
Emeritus classes are offered for active seniors. Classes are offered for active seniors through a partnership between Irvine Valley College (IVC), Saddleback College, and the City of Lake Forest. Registration for all Senior Emeritus classes is done through Irvine Valley College and Saddleback College directly. City of Lake Forest registration methods DO NOT apply to Emeritus class registration.
Registration for IVC Senior Emeritus Classes Only - To register, the following options are available:
Online Registration
Log on to www.ivc.edu -Click on the button "Register for Emeritus Classes."
-Click on the link in the left column "Emeritus."
-Select "Class Category" (i.e. Fitness) in the blue column on the left. Class sections are on the right in alphabetical order...click on the class you want.
-Click on the "Class Course Number" for the section you want.
-Click the "Add" button.
RETURNING STUDENTS ONLY: Enter your "Account number and Pin Number"
NEW STUDENTS ONLY: Proceed to click on "Apply Now" Your previous IVC Student Number and Pin Number do not work on this system.
Fill in all your personal contact information. At this time, you may also add other members of your family/household on this same account by clicking on the button "Add New Family Member" after you have completed the information for the primary contact.
The class will now be added. You can select under the "Client" column whom you would like registered in the course.
Choose the button to continue "Shopping for More Classes" or "Go to Checkout."
-Input your credit card information and click on "Complete Transaction."
-IVC will send you a copy of your receipt with your login ID and Pin Number for future classes.

Registration for Saddleback College Senior Emeritus Classes Only - To register, visit http://www.saddleback.edu/admissions/new-students. Emeritus Main Office: (949) 582-4835.

- Log in to Mysite
Go to Saddleback.edu
Click "MYSITE" at the top
Login and Password Box
- Go to Registration
Click My Classes and Register
- Update your information
Answer all questions with a red*
Enter Important Social Security Number Information
- Register for Classes
Enter Class Ticket Number, then click: Add Class
- Finish
Registration Confirmation Screen: List all classes for which you registered
